What should I use for Gateway address?

In most cases networking (TCP/IP) software has an option for using the default gateway or server-assigned gateway address. This means that the gateway will be supplied by the server each time you log in. For some software, such as Trumpet Winsock and MacTCP, you can simply leave that option blank.
