SMTP Auth Setup for
Outlook XP

1. Start Outlook XP. From the menu, select Tools, then E-mail Accounts.

2. Under E-mail, make sure View or change existing e-mail accounts is selected, and then click Next.

3. Select your zNET account. Click Next.

4. Click on Change.

5. Make sure the box named Log on using Secure Password Authentication is not checked, then click on More Settings.

6. Put a check in the box for "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication", and for "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
7. Then click the Advanced tab..

8. Under Server Port Numbers for Outgoing server (SMTP), enter "587"

9. Click OK, Next, and Finish to close out of all dialog boxes and save your changes, and you are done.
